Went there with a fear of perhaps having to pay a lot of money for a reprogramming of my car key, only to learn I had put a new battery in upside-down in the fob (der!). They could have easily led me up a garden path and fooled me into parting with lots of money but remained true and honest and simply flipped the battery over and unlocked the car from the counter. I would recommend enthusiasticly to anyone - superb!
Great company, they attended a call out by the letting agency; called to book the appointment, called when they arrived (as I had to travel to the property) and 5 minute to adjust the door. Done - they were polite, professional and even left a rating card (which got lost in the move!). I would certainly recommend this lot, perfect business!
My colleague visited KAT Locksmiths this week as the lock to our office was broken. They were so helpful and they were able to repair the lock rather than encouraging us to buy a new lock. Its service like this that puts them above the rest. Whenever I need a new lock I would have no hesitation in going back to them. Excellent service. Thoroughly recommend.
Expensive.Thank you for your response. And no, there was nothing wrong with the work carried out, this is why I gave you two stars. You offer a good service to the community offering a wide range of locks, keys and other security systems, but.... and this is my big BUT as I clearly stated on my review, to a price. My review was clear, one word "Expensive". We could argue quality and price are important factors but this is a plain copy of a little key with no much complication and which I had it done in the past for less than half the price.I have used your service a few times and always though it was a bit expensive but the other day paying 6.50 for a copy of a mailbox key seemed ridiculous. And yes you are right too I was told the price at front so it was my choice to have it done or walk away. Once I was there it didn't seem worth it to leave but reminded me I should take next time another much cheaper option.
