Absolute joke of a company. Tried to book a property with them for 2 months and still didnt succeed. Firstly phoned them and spoke to Robert who told me he would check with the owners and get back to me about availability, waited about a week for a response and had to chase several times in between. Then had a response saying it was available and I could book but when I was sent the booking confirmation it was the wrong property. Then was told the property actually wasnt available so asked them to send over what was available for my dates, again waited around a week for any response and had to chase yet again. Finally got a response and picked an available property to book and for the 2nd time was sent confirmation of the wrong property! I replied to say it was the wrong property yet again and to this day I have never heard back from them. They are not ABTA or ATOL protected so I wouldnt trust them at all. Dont seem to be able to do the simplest of things. Never once received an apology for the whole mess we had to go through. Absolute waste of time!
Stitched us on the deposit. No proper handover, then accused us of damaging the cooker hob. Our word against theirs. They kept the deposit. Shame really, nice properties, even nice local team to support.
We stayed at the Swan Lake Villa in Vilamoura as a family of 12 (8 adults and 4 children). The villa was absolutely stunning and I would have to say the pictures just do not do it justice.Booking with Golden Triangle was a smooth process from arranging our transfers to the collection of keys.The villa was large (6 bedrooms in total) with 4 ensuites all of exceptional quality. All of the interiors were of a very high quality and the layout was free flowing leading from the large open planned living area onto the pool. The house was immaculately well kept and during our seven day stay, maids attended on two occasions. We even asked for a special birthday cake and this was delivered to our villa on the day requested.The only niggles whilst we were there was the Wi FI in the upstairs bedroom and downstairs cinema room was a bit hit and miss and the TV channels didn't contain half of the channels (but then who goes on holiday to watch TV!)Can't say thank you enough to Claire, Vera and Eva for making this stay so enjoyable.Should we ever need somewhere to stay in Portugal again, Golden Triangle will be the first people we call.
